Full-Stack Contributions to Oracle's CRM Platform
As a key software engineer on Oracle's CRM platform, I developed and enhanced critical full-stack features, contributing to services that process over 1.5M events daily and support products projected to drive $2M in new revenue.

problem
Our team was tasked with building a centralized dashboard for enterprise customers to gain real-time insights into their service usage. The core challenge was to build backend systems capable of ingesting and processing millions of events in real-time while presenting this data through a performant UI.
solution
I contributed to several key areas of the platform, implementing a resilient Webhooks service using Kafka, architecting a tenant-based data encryption service to centralize security, and building dynamic UI components in React for the user-facing dashboard.
Growing from Contributor to Owner
When I joined the team as a recent graduate, my first goal was to get a deep understanding of the complex microservices architecture. My initial major task involved setting up and implementing the new Engage Webhooks service, following design documents and collaborating closely with senior developers to translate requirements into production-ready code. This experience was foundational, teaching me the standards for building reliable services at scale.
As I grew in the role, I began taking on more design ownership. A key project I led was architecting a new, thread-safe Data Encryption Service from the ground up. I designed it with simple APIs that abstracted away the complexity of key management, which led to its adoption by over five other teams, significantly improving their developer velocity. I also contributed heavily to the frontend, building React components for the Supervisor Dashboard and partnering with UX to ensure the final product was both powerful and intuitive. Seeing my contributions—from backend architecture to UI implementation—come together in a platform projected to drive $2M in new revenue has been an incredibly rewarding experience.
